How to install Google Chrome in Ubuntu

In this article we will install chrome in Ubuntu. Chrome is the powerful web browser. We can install chrome form Ubuntu software center or manually. In this article we would install chrome from software center.

To install chrome form software center follow these steps.

Search for chrome

Step 3

Select chrome from list and click on install button. Installation required root privilege. Authenticate with super user password. Super user is the user which we create during the installation. Installation process would take few minutes.Once installation finished close the software center

To use chrome clicks on dash home button.

Search for chrome and click on chrome icon

hrome browse will be ready to use.

How can view saved password in Mozilla Firefox

If you don't remember the password, hopefully you managed to save it with Firefox's Password Manager. If that's the case, you can get back the password.
Step 1
Open Mozilla firefox then click menu and select options


Step 2

On the Options dialog box, click the Security button at the top. In the Passwords box, click Saved Passwords.


Step 3

The Saved Passwords dialog box displays each site for which you have saved your username and password, and displays the usernames. The passwords are hidden by default. To view the passwords, click Show Passwords.


A confirmation dialog box displays to be sure you want to show your passwords. Click Yes if you still want to view your passwords.


A Password column displays and all your passwords are shown.





How can view saved password in google chrome

Open your Chrome browser and from the top right Chrome menu button, select Settings. Alternatively, you can simply type chrome://settings in the address bar and hit Enter.

Scroll down and click on Show advanced settings. Now scroll down to the Passwords and forms section and click on the Manage passwords link.


You will a list of all your saved passwords. The passwords will be hidden by asterisk marks. To see them, click on the Show link.


Here you manage and delete the saved passwords. When Chrome offered to save a password, if you clicked Never for this site, your password will not be saved and the site will be added to a list of passwords that are never saved. You can also remove any URLs you have saved in the Never saved list. Once you have finished, click on the Done button.

Use hidden international wallpapers and themes in Windows 7

When you first install Windows 7, it asks for your language, time and currency. Based on your responses, it installs a set of wallpapers and themes. If you choose English (United States) for your time and currency format, for example, the available desktop backgrounds and themes will include a United States section with scenery from locations such as Maine, the Southwest and so on.

Hidden, though, are background scenery and themes from other English-speaking countries -- Australia, Canada, Great Britain and South Africa. Normally, you can't access those backgrounds or themes, but there is a simple way you can install and use them:

1. In the search box in the Start menu, type C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT and press Enter. (Note: If Windows 7 is installed in a drive other than C:, use that letter instead.)

2. Windows Explorer will launch and show you a list of subfolders under C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT: MCT-AU, MCT-CA, MCT-GB, MCT-US, and MCT-ZA. Each subfolder has wallpapers for a specific country: AU for Australia, CA for Canada, GB for Great Britain, US for the United States, and ZA for South Africa.

For any of the countries whose wallpaper and themes you want to use, go into its Theme folder, for example, C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT\MCT-ZA\Theme. Double-click the theme you see there (for example ZA).

3. That will install a shortcut to the theme and wallpapers in the Personalization section of Control Panel.

You can now use them as you would any other theme or background, by right-clicking the desktop, choosing Personalize, and choosing a background or theme. They will be listed in their own section.

Internet browser shortcuts.


  • Press Alt + D or Ctrl + L to move the cursor into the address bar.

    • Hold down the Ctrl key and press the + or - to increase and decrease the size of text. Ctrl + 0 will reset the text.
    • Press the backspace key or press Alt key + left arrow to go back a page.
    • Press F5 or Ctrl + R to refresh or reload a web page.
    • Press F11 to make the Internet browser screen full screen. Press F11 again to return to the normal view.
    • Press Ctrl + B to open your Internet bookmarks.
    • Press Ctrl + F to open the find box to search for text within the web page you are reading.

    How Can Create Your Own Portable Software

    If you often need to access computers that belong to other people or other offices, you may have a hard time working the way you need to -- you may not have access to the programs you usually have. Google tries to make working on multiple computers simpler by automatically bringing your browsing history and bookmarks to any installation of Chrome when you sign in. You also have Google Docs. For other programs, though, you're usually on your own. Carrying the software you need with you as you move from one computer to another may seem like an option. The problem with this approach is that you wouldn't usually be able to install your programs on someone else's computer. It would also take time. The right approach to this problem, then, is to carry the software you need, in portable form.

      What is a portable program?

     Programs don't necessarily need to be installed on a computer's hard drive before they are run. Installing is usually only desirable for the convenience that it offers. With most programs, you could easily store the executable file and other supporting software in the form of a single self-contained file on a portable hard drive, flash drive or anything else, and run them directly off these storage devices. The registries of the computers that these programs are run on are not altered. Many websites on the Internet offer useful inventories of programs for common needs -- LibreOffice Portable is a Microsoft office replacement; Notepad++ works in place of Notepad; Inkscape replaces Adobe Illustrator and GIMP replaces Photoshop.

      What if you want the real thing and not a replacement?

     While freeware replacements for popular programs get a few things done well, they cannot offer the depth and functionality of the big-name programs. If you wish to carry those programs around, you'll need to make them portable yourself, using up portable application creator.

      How a portable application creator works

     If you're interested in making your own portable applications, many free options exist, Enigma Virtual Box, Evalaze and Cameyo being among the most popular. When you direct one of these freeware programs at any Windows software, they gather all the necessary files together and create a single executable application. You get to launch the program and use it on any Windows computer as if it were installed on that computer.

      It's as simple as that

     Before you create a portable version of a program, you need to make sure that the computer you create it on doesn't have a regular version of the program already installed. It can cause software conflicts to have the program installed on it. You also need to remember that portable application creator s don't usually create fully portable applications with their default settings. Often, the settings they come with allow the portable applications that they create to leave a few traces behind on any computer that they are used on. You need to select the right options to make sure that no registry changes or other traces are left behind. Once you have these simple settings applied, you'll be on your way to carrying an entire computer's worth of software around with you on a flash drive.

    How can Boot Windows in safemode without press F8 key

    You have an option, however, this requires you to be booted into Windows already. Press the Win+R key simultaneously and type msconfig in the run box and press enter.

    Switch over to the boot tab, and click on the Safe Boot check box.

    Then re-start PC will be booted into Safe Mode automatically.
    If you restart you PC you will just keep getting booted into Safe Mode, to stop this open msconfig again and uncheck the Safe Boot option, then press ok button.
